An enjoyable well attended evening was had with 8 teams representing 12 churches getting together to play table tennis, dominoes and Ludo. The overall team winners were Somers Park Avenue, represented by Carol, Jennifer and Mary, with the team from the United Reformed Church being close runners up. Certificates were presented to the individual winners of each game and Jean Hare from Holy Trinity Church kindly donated a trophy for the table tennis champion in memory of her late husband, Glyn, who had enjoyed many years competing in that tournament.
The clergy contest was pool and was won by Rev. Anthony Gann.
During the evening everyone enjoyed a shared buffet and hot drinks and our thanks go to all who helped by providing food, preparing for the evening, helping during the evening and helped to clear away afterwards.
