News from the Circuit

The Circuit has recently been part of the Methodist Church stationing procedure as we have two of our ministers who will be moving to new appointments in September 2017.  Alison Richards will be moving to Lozells in Birmingham and Jane Wilson to Keynsham near Bristol.

We are delighted that Nigel Coke-Woods will be joining the circuit as minister for the Malvern area churches.  Nigel, whose wife Sylvia is an ordained Anglican priest, joins us from the West Devon circuit and has previously been stationed in Cumbria, Dorset, Widnes and Amersham so brings a wealth of experience in many different types of churches.  He felt that the churches here which he visited in early November offered him and Sylvia a very warm welcome.

In conjunction with the Droitwich stewards we applied for Droitwich to be a probationary appointment as it has proved an important first step for several ministers over the years due to the amount of support which can be offered.  It will be January before we know more.

Stationing is a time of uncertainty across the whole Methodist Connection and we ask that you remember everyone involved in your prayers.
